Research and innovation projects

For several years now, KMLT GmbH has been working on research projects in collaboration with partners from industry and science, for example together with research institutions such as TU Dresden, the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e. V. (IPF) or the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU Chemnitz.

The aim of these collaborations is to research new technologies, materials and processes and bring them to market readiness, which not only drive technological progress but also make a sustainable contribution to the transformation of industrial value creation. The focus here is on the development of intelligent material systems, the digitalization of production processes, resource-efficient production methods and the integration of new materials into existing production chains.

The close integration of scientific excellence and industrial practice is intended to create application-oriented solutions that set standards in both research and industrial implementation. KMLT GmbH sees itself not only as a project partner, but also as an active driver of innovation, providing impetus in the field of precision laser processing, thereby strengthening networks and opening up new perspectives.

With a clear view of the future, KMLT GmbH pursues the goal of not only accompanying technological developments, but actively helping to shape them – in a responsible, networked and visionary manner.
