For more than 33 years, KMLT® has been synonymous with reliable contract manufacturing in the field of precision laser microprocessing.
With the founding of KIRCHNER UND MÜLLER LASERTECHNIK GbR in Dresden in 1991, one of the first laser job shops in eastern Germany was established.
The basics had already been laid between 1989 and 1991 at one of the world’s leading laser pioneers at the time, Carl Baasel Lasertechnik GmbH & Co KG in Starnberg.
For the first few years, the company focused exclusively on laser marking.
As turnover increased and in order to gain access to larger markets, the company was logically transformed into a GmbH in 1993.
The attraction of opening up further interesting areas of application for laser technology led to the founding of a new subsidiary, DREMICUT GMBH, in 2001. Since then, the company has focused on laser micromachining, laser micro-cutting, the production of SMD precision stencils and laser micro-welding at its location in Neukirch/Lausitz.
In 2021, the two companies were merged to form KMLT GmbH.
A broad spectrum of currently 28 laser systems provides the technical foundation for implementing a wide range of demanding applications.
In order to continue the successful expansion, further major investments in an additional company building and many high-tech machines are planned for 2024 at the Neukirch site.
